Love River

The Love River originates in the Renwu District of Kaohsiung City, flows through the city, and is one of the major rivers in Kaohsiung, often referred to as the “mother river” of the city. Downstream, the riverbanks have been developed into a riverside park, providing a great spot for leisurely walks within the city and serving as the stage for dragon boat races during the Dragon Boat Festival and lantern festivals during the Lantern Festival.
At night, the Love River is adorned with neon lights that shimmer on the water’s surface, creating a unique ambiance on both the eastern and western banks.
