Kaohsiung Pop Music Center

Since 2009, as part of a project approved by the Executive Yuan and entrusted by the Ministry of Culture, the Kaohsiung City Government has been planning, designing, and constructing the Kaohsiung Pop Music Center. It operates as a new form of “administrative legal entity” with the aim of establishing itself as the core venue for pop music performances in southern Taiwan, nurturing domestic pop music talent, and promoting industry development. In addition to music performances, it also incorporates the scenic beauty of the harbor to create a new destination for tourism and relaxation.
